Development Officer, Full-Time, 37 Hours, Salary £25,750 per annum

At Bristol Beacon, we believe in the power of live music to unite and inspire. For over 150 years, we've been at the heart of Bristol’s cultural life, offering a diverse range of performances, community events, and educational programmes that ignite creativity and celebrate the joy of music. Now, we're looking for a passionate Development Officer to join our team and help drive our mission forward.

This is your chance to be part of something special – a vibrant, creative environment where music and events are at the core of everything we do. From world-class concerts to local community events and our Music Education Hub performances, you'll play a key role in making sure we can continue to deliver unforgettable experiences to our audiences.

As a Development Officer, you’ll use your relationship-building skills and creative writing experience to help secure vital support for Bristol Beacon’s future. You’ll manage our membership programme, engage with our supporters, and help craft successful funding applications. If you have a passion for the arts, strong organisational skills, and the drive to make an impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you to grow your career in the cultural sector.

Why You’ll Love Working at Bristol Beacon:

  • Be part of a team that’s passionate about making a difference through music.
  • Contribute to a dynamic programme of events that bring people together and enrich the community.
  • Build your experience in fundraising and arts management while working for one of Bristol’s most iconic venues.

We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We particularly welcome applications from individuals with disabilities or from ethnically diverse backgrounds, as we continue to work towards greater representation in the arts and culture sector.

If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and be part of Bristol’s cultural legacy, apply today to join the Bristol Beacon team!
