Senior Technician (Network Systems & Equipment Maintenance Lead), Full-Time, 37 Hours, Salary £29,870 per annum

With our vision of uniting people through the joy of live music, we programme a diverse range of artists, showcase amazing community events, use our spaces for a range of commercial business events and host our inspirational Music Education Hub performances.

Our Production Office receive and showcase these events, facilitating all event requirements and ensuring that the quality and standard of each event is outstanding, and our Technical staff are part of this team.

Our senior technicians bring their experience and technical innovation to the design and requirements for events of all size. You will be able to plan, organise, work to deadlines, and manage technical productions for a venue of our scale. You should demonstrate excellent technical skills and have the ability to work at a high level, with experience in managing events both as part of a team and independently. You will have experience meeting the technical and operational requirements for large multi-space live music venues, ensuring technical excellence and the smooth operation and setup of events, as well as keeping spaces well-maintained.

You should have experience in delivering lighting, sound, audiovisual, and staging solutions for events. You should be able to use your initiative and experience to understand the requirements of events, remain calm under pressure, and be able to share your expertise while providing guidance and support to others. You will have experience of risk assessments and be able to work safely and competently and through your excellent Health and Safety knowledge, supervise others to do the same.

Our Senior Technicians each take the lead in delivering various aspects of the technical department. Your responsibility will be to ensure that our equipment is well maintained and that our production IT network remains healthy. Therefore, you should have experience in equipment maintenance as well as a good understanding of IT networks and relevant production networking protocols and software.

This role will meet the requirements of our busy music venue and will work to a roster over evenings and weekends.
